I built a general purpose room but try as i might i can t seem to connect it to another room. The vertical connector is constructed with the habitat builder and lowers the hull integrity value by 0 5 units at. The ladder is a seabase component intended to allow the player to climb vertically between adjacent seabase modules. If i try running a corridor the game won t let me connect to that either.

Apr 21 2017 8 02pm. A ladder s placement appears to depend on. A ladder has to be constructed inside the vertical connector to use it. If i but another general purpose above it the game won t let me place a ladder on the pad to connect them.

They are constructed with the habitat builder and can only be placed on the floors and ceilings of modules where there is already another module in place ready to connect. Similar ladders are pre installed on the cyclops and lifepod 5. Vertical corridors don t work either. Is there something i m missing.

It s very awkward to have to build smaller connectors for vertical movement because it looks like there is no way to connect one multi purpose room to another vertically.
